Fractal Forest Himalayan Shilajit resin is genuinely sourced from Skardu, with additional material from Gilgit, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of the Pakistani Himalayas at an altitude of 16,000 feet. It is harvested from a dense resin, found veined within rocks and carefully purified so that no sediment or rock remains. The environment is pristine and free from pollutants, fertilizers and chemicals.
Skardu's rock is considered gold-grade, a distinction tied to the region's extreme altitude and mineral density, and a higher grade than what most commercial suppliers use.
We prepare it using a traditional sun-dried method over 40–60 days, with no fire and no steaming. The extended sun-drying period does two things: gravity gradually pulls sediment and other contaminants out of the resin over the weeks, and the absence of heat preserves its natural mineral and fulvic acid structure.
